I have just started by changing my diet and controling my portion sizes at meal times. I am also trying to quit eating late at night, which I am finding difficult, and have replaced junk food snacks with yogurts and fruit.

Every pound counts, congrats!

Sometimes a little creative visualization helps when you start craving things that you are trying to limit in your diet.

That's great.Every pound is a milestone in my opinion. I remember how good it felt getting back down to my normal jeans after being pregant.I had to work some of that weight off.I started getting rid of old clothing and was like this is a reason to go shopping for new clothes after I lose more. I'm working on that part now..the losing more.

Great job. Losing weight is tough and taking is slowly one step at a time is the key. Every time you reach a goal for yourself pat yourself on the back as you have earned it. Losing weight is a lot tougher than it sounds.

Losing weight is hard. I just had a bone graft surgery about 4 months ago, so I've been able to do less physical activity, and just recently started training upper body again. It was very hard to lose weight and keep from getting fat. I did however lose a lot of muscle due to atrophy.

Weight loss supplements and legal anabolic supplements (for muscle gain), are the reason I finally started getting back in shape. It was very hard without the supplements.

Bone graft?

Wow! It is truly amazing that modern medicine can intervene at this level these days!

What led to your having the procedure?

I had a broken wrist fro about 2 1/2 years and I kept taping it with athletic tape and working out. I guess I finally severed the blood supply and messed up the wrist even more.

It was just time to get it fixed. I was still benching over 400 pounds with a broken wrist though!
