| Hi everyone, I finally opened up my juicer. It's tremendous how good and healthy I can manage to drink. And, the pulp is able to be used in homemade salad dressings, and as seasoning for cooking, etc. I've found that adding an apple to vegetable-based juices is a nice way to sweeten up a vegetable juice. Also, tomato is excellent as a base for a vegetable juice but I've been nervous about using any because of the salmonella scare that's going around. Does anyone have any good juicing suggestions for me? |

| I used to love putting a frozen banana in the juicer, because it comes out tasting like softy serve vanilla ice cream!

| I do this same thing only I had never heard anyone say that about it as well. There is something about the consistency when you are done that is just sooo right... |

| Yeah, juicing can be a good way to get in more fruits and vegetables than you normally take in. Taking a liquid vitamin like Alive Liquid Multi can be a good way to get liquid fruits, vegetables, vitamins and minerals if you can't afford a juicer. ![]() What other good ideas do you guys have for juicing recipes?

| I'm interested in buying a juicer but some of them are so expensive I'm worried I may not use it enough. We make homemade smoothies in our blender though.I freeze banana's and other fruit. My toddler loves them.We don't add sugar or anything like that.We usually add a little milk or frozen yogurt. They get pretty good. |

| Hi, raw Beetroot, celery, watercress, carrot, ginger, wheatgrass, radish, lettuce, tomato and Avocado etc? all go well in a juicer. So try singly as shots or - - - - - Try - celery, apple and watercress - sometimes adding a fruit adds an enjoyable sweetness to the juice and makes it more enjoyable and vitamin packed. beetroot, watercress and celery. carrot and ginger. apple and carrot. carrot and wheatgrass. Tomato and celery. Tomato with spices like fresh chilli. Lettuce with apple and radish. --It just takes a bit of practice to get the balance right and the flavoures you enjoy. I mean veggie juices aren't quite as good as the fruit ones. |
