Default Lack of the essential vitamins!!

I found that I am tired most of the time, however I do not suffer with any named disorder such as chronic fatigue. I get plenty of rest and have a good varied diet. Upon my most recent visit to the doctor, I mentioned this tiredness and was sent for some routine blood test which have revealed that I have anemia, and therefore have now been prescribed Iron supplements.

If you too suffer from tiredness, it could be down to any number of things that are medical related that you simply do not know about. It would be a good idea to have some blood tests carried out.

This is a good point, but no one I know with Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia were ever diagnosed without a battery of tests that included blood work-ups. It's par for the course with the diagnosis.

Default Natural Fibromyalgia Treatment

Has anyone suffering from fibromyalgia tried Fibro-X ? It's supposed to help lessen the severity of the painful symptoms experienced by the Fibromyalgia patient.

If one is anemic, iron is just about the only solution. Unfortunately, having enough iron in your blood doesn't necessarily take care of your fatigue.

You might try adding B complex vitamins. They are a great energy boost.

If you do try B vitamins try to find the ones that dissolve under your tongue. B vitamins don't well in your gi tract so the sublinqual version is great because you absorb them into your blood stream. Just a thought!

Its my understanding that there are drugs now that completely eliminate the symptoms of this illness. I could be wrong though. Perhaps these drugs are still in testing.

What is it about the GI tract that prevents B vitamins from working as well as they should?

I assume that your doctor also checked your thyroid function.

Often, this is overlooked as a possible cause of not only fatigue, but unexplained weight gain. As we get older doctors are more likely to check for this, but many forget that this can be a problem before the age of 30!

It is rare, but needs to be checked, just in case.

I agree with this erick99. You can find this type of B vitamin at most health food stores and online.
