| I have been using soma for my fibromyalgia pain for a few years now. This helps me get some work done within the day. I’m worried about something, though. I read from some forums that there are bad long term effects and withdrawals from using soma. Am not sure if these are official info so can anyone help me out? Thanks! | Soma, like any medicine, once taken for a long time can cause side effects. Same with withdrawals. That’s why it’s recommended that no one should suddenly stop taking their long-term medications. The best thing to do is to follow your prescription and if you need further info on soma effects, ask your doctor about it. Hope this helps. Last edited by BeFit4Free; 08-22-2009 at 12:48 PM.
