What groups do you like to listen to in the Hip-Hop category that get you motivated to exercise?

Default 50 CENT and Tupac

As I spend more and more time in the gym, and more and more time reading magazines and reading threads on befit4free.net I realize that Hip Hop and Rap are not all that popluar in the weight room. I however would no sooner workout listening to Heavy Metal than I would join an arobics class. Artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, G-Unit and Akon are what keep me pounding the iron. Their are many hip hop songs that touch on the subject of social and economic struggle. They also talk about defeating the enviromental obsticals that come from growing up poor. I relate to this as I struggle against all the things in life that try and keep me un-healthy, fat and out of the ranks of the wealthy. To hear at rediculouse volumes that 50 Cent "has a mill out to bill and is still on the grind", means another 10 pounds and another 7 reps. All hayle Tupac!

I prefer wu-tang, NWA, old Dre, older UGK, Geto Boys. Ghostface killah's most recent albums are great for getting the pump going strong.

I honestly don't think that Hip-Hop turns me on as much as Heavy Metal or Rock does.

If you havent then definitely check out Ghostface Killah's Fishscale album. It's got this one track on there called "The Champ" that has all these Rocky voice clips of Micky and Clubber Lang in there that really gets me pumped. You can preview it on his defjam page that I link to above.

Default well

Eminem is my choice of hip-hop music when i work out. I'm not that fond of hip-hop but i enjoy his music somewhat. I'm more fond of newage and/or trance.

Enigma is good but it can make you sleepy. lol
