Default Mp3 Player changes as you do

I read this article in popular science yesterday about a mp3 player you can wear while your working out and it chooses music to the tempo of your workout. It uses sensors to detect your heart rate and some other things and picks out music that will complement that aspect of your workout and changes throughout the whole workout.

What a wonderful idea in my opinion

Default The Yamaha BodiBeat MP3 Player - Changes music to match your workout

The Yamaha BodiBeat MP3 Player seems like a very cool piece of equipment to keep your exercise routine exciting! This small MP3 player actually synchronizes your music to match your heart rate and type of exercise!

It measures your heart rate and other functions using an accelerometer based "exercise detector".

It looks like a cool new gizmo... The only thing that seems like a problem to me is the fat that it is a 512mb memory. Read more: BodiBeat, by Yamaha Corporation, a revolutionary new MP3 music and exercise playback device

It's amazing what they can make these days. An MP3 player catered to your workout. I will have to check them out. Sounds very interesting.

That's ridiculous! I can't even imagine how complicated it must be!

Does it completely change the song, or will it make it faster and all? Louder?

I also know of a company based here in Denver called FitBeats who does this same sort of concept except you choose the music for your particular workout of that day. They are geared to people who want to train for triathalons, but also people who just like the one event (cyclist, runners, cardio step, etc) It is great as it helps motivate you especially when you are training alone. Their website is Fitness MP3 Leader Denver Colorado.
