If you're a bodybuilder or have taken any type of anabolic supplements / anabolic steroids, you've more than likely used post cycle therapy / PCT.

Many doctors also use PCT calculators to determine when a patient (who is being prescribed testosterone or other suppressive anabolic, androgenic steroid cycles) should start their ancillary pct treatment to reduce side effects and bring their natural hormone levels back. A PCT calculator can also be used for muscle building supplements / legal anabolic supplements so it would be a benefit to our members.

What is PCT / Post Cycle Therapy?

Post cycle therapy is a method of employing ancillary drugs to try stabilize and restore a users hormone levels back to normal levels after a suppressive anabolic androgenic steroid cycle has been ceased.

Once a user has ceased use of anabolic androgenic steroids they are left with natural testosterone production being suppressed. This results in the users body being in a very catabolic state post cycle, which effects their ability to maintain muscle mass gained while on cycle.

PCT is a way to restore natural testosterone / hormone production and bring about a better environment for overall health and maintenance of muscle tissue.

The Dilemma:
We're posting a poll and would like your votes / opinions. Most of you knew about the BulkMuscle.com PCT Calculator and I have actually used it to determine when to start my HCG prescription after finishing Testosterone Cypionate prescription.

Since BulkMuscle.com lost their PCT calculator due to server errors, we have been discussing posting a PCT calculator for the use of not only our forum members but doctors and anyone on the Internet who needs a PCT calculator.


What a PCT Calculator can do:

• A PCT Calculator takes into account the anabolic / androgenic half life and dosage of specific supplements and or steroids including testosterone a patient is taking and uses these figures to calculate the length of time after completing a suppressive anabolic, androgenic steroid cycle when you should start Post Cycle Therapy.
• Some PCT Calculators can create a graph that shows how much of an anabolic / androgenic substance is in your system on a relevant date to your cycle.

What a PCT Calculator Does NOT do:

• PCT Calculators do NOT tell you how much or how often to take any type of anabolic, androgenic steroids or supplements.
• a PCT Calculator does not tell you a specific type or dosage of any type of ancillaries to take.
• a PCT Calculator does not give recommendations on what type of supplement or steroid to take.
• Does not take into account the variance in half life that changes due to amount of muscle tissue of a specific injection site (glutes Vs. Delts etc.) therefore, it is not exact.

A PCT Calculator just gives users of Anabolic / Androgenic substances a reference on the safe, healthy time to start a PCT treatment to reduce side effects that may occur from supplementing with suppressive anabolic, androgenic steroid cycles and or synthetic testosterone type over the counter supplements.

Here is a PCT Calculator is obviously used specifically to help steroid users only. It is also way too complicated for the average Joe to get accurate results: RoidCalc.com - The name of the site is Roid Calculator. We DO NOT want to be a site like that which promotes illegal drug use. Our calculator will be much simpler and not designed to calculate only illegal substances. There isn't really any PCT calculator on the net to date that will do this.

Pros:

1. We can offer support to people who medically need a PCT calculator to determine when they should start PCT.
2. We can offer over-the-counter, non-prescription post cycle therapy products such as Novedex XT and other legal PCT products to even users of illegal steroids.
3. Everyone can use Protein, Vitamins and other supplements we offer.
4. This will allow BeFit4Free to promote steroid alternatives as well as legal alternatives to illegal PCT products.

1. We do not want to be viewed as condoning the usage of any illegal steroid or any other illegal drug.
2. Are there any legal issues that may be a problem if we offer this free support ?
3. Could this look like we're promoting the use of illegal substances? (We're not).
4. We don't want our members to think that we're suggesting they use illegal drugs instead of legal supplements. (That doesn't benefit us or our members).

We are trying to promote legal PCT and Legal Anabolic Supplements.

Wow. First off - I'm just Blessed and glad I don't have any medical conditions that require having to know this kind of information.
Secondly - knowledge is power.
There are honest people who could benefit from this valuable tool and will use it to healthfully manage their or their patient's medical condition....
and people who are dishonest enough to use illegal substances, could use it as well.
I think you just have to continue to clearly state the integrity of this befit4free website - that you are all about promoting healthy lifestyle.

Keep I mind that this PCT calculator can be used to determine when to start PCT after using a legal anabolic like our methylated products too!

We haven't got a lot of response to the poll about us offering a FREE Anabolic / Androgenic PCT Calculator. Are you guys interested in having our site offer a FREE Anabolic / Androgenic PCT Calculator or not? We have had a total of 14 votes.

It seems like it would be very useful if I needed that sort of calculations however - there wasn't a vote choice of "It's probably not something I would use"....but that's my vote. Hope that's helpful in determining what to put on the site.

That's a good idea! We haven't got a lot of response to this poll...
It makes me curious if a lot of people (even if they're using anabolic supplements) simply don't calculate the correct start date for their post cycle therapy.

I'll see if I can add that option!

Its good to know if we don't need to invest the time, money and energy to launch a free PCT calculator!

We just got the PCT calculator program, although it still needs to have the correct half life values input so the post cycle therapy start date calculations are correct.

If any of you know of doctors / anti-aging clinics, endochrinologists or hormone replacement specialists that would use this PCT calculator to calculate the start date of their patient's PCT, please. Be sure to send them this link!

Hopefully the PCT calculator tool will be available soon!

We ended up using PCT Calculator - Post Cycle Therapy as the address so it was easier to track its traffic individually.

You can just Click PCT Calculator from any page on the forum to get to the new PCT Calculator.
