| Bodybuilding Diet / Fitness and Figure Diet This diet is very similar to what a lot of bodybuilders, fitness models and figure competitors use to lose body fat before a contest or show.

Yeah, eggs are fine. If you're trying to lean out, but still want the taste of the yolks, you can do 3-4 eggs but remove the yolk from all but one of the eggs. If you don't mind eating only the whites, that's better. I eat every couple hours... |

| Hey how would you successfully ease yourself back out of this with out too much of a weight regain. I did this for a week and was losing a pound a day, seriously, Then (thanks to Valentines day) I started a more regular diet just more fruit and wg carbs and gained back 5 of the 8 I lost. I am still happy with the -3 in a week but I would have been tickled to maintain the 8. I figured I would keep with the normal diet until I get closer to my goal weight. My normal diet being a ratio of 50% protein,30% carbs and 20% fat. 1800 cal. total. I am not trying to spam but have you checked out the P90X program? I know it isn't for a serious bodybuilder but I have to workout at home and I bought it to check it out. Of course they push their overpriced supplements but the actually diet and exercise part looks pretty decent. They also act like stacking and rotating oposing muscle groups is some new idea. In all though it isn't anything you couldn't figure out on your own. BTW~I love this site. Your prices can't be beat. I am geting ready to order me some of that Nectar!! Have a great day!! | Hey Nicol, This is my profile that I use to interface with Facebook. (Still Curtis AKA BeFit4Free).I think any training program (weather it be P90x or any other form of exercise that makes you burn calories) is a good thing if you're trying to lose weight. As far as their diet program goes, I haven't looked it over. When it comes to easing your self back into the Normal diet (after doing a pre contest diet), you need to still focus on eating at least 4 times per day (not more than 3 hours between meals) and only take in your higher carbohydrate high sugar foods within 30 - 45min. after exercise. Other than that, it can take 3-4 weeks of sticking to the increased number of daily meals to increase your basil metabolic rate... If you're having cravings, try Hoodia gordonii. | The P90X Diet program is not bad. They stick to the basics, a lot like Body for Life. Easy to follow as long as you stay within the portions perscribed for you, your caloric intake should be fine. I like the workouts too. They really challenge the woman when it comes to upper body...DO NOT get discouraged, punch through it and you will find yourself strengthened and able to transition to the next phase. (I got discouraged the first time around..:-(...but followed through the second time) Last edited by FitnBuf; 03-06-2009 at 01:49 PM. |

| Funny I thought it was like Body For Life too. I did that back in 1998. I lost 38 pounds and 8% bodyfat in 8 weeks. I do like the P90X it is a really good workout. Once I figured up the calorie deficit I need to lose my extra weight. I kind of settled into it. I plan on sticking it out for the 90days. Then re-evaluating to see what I am going to do next. I did lose 4 pounds already in 12 days so something must be working. Thanks for the input. I hope to tell you about great results soon. Nicol |

| Hi, Now wildly popular, Caesar salads are readily available with all sorts of toppings -- this recipe uses healthy grilled turkey. Cooking Time: 8 to 10 minutes Number of Servings: 4 Preparation Time: 20 minutes You Will Need 2 garlic cloves, peeled 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt 1 tablespoon olive oil 3/4 pound boneless, skinless turkey breast 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper Vegetable cooking spray 8 cups romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces 1/2 cup garlic croutons 1 ounce Parmesan cheese What to Do 1. Heat grill. With a mini-processor or side of a chef's knife, mash garlic cloves until pastelike. Put garlic paste, lemon juice, yogurt, and oil into a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake until blended. 2. Sprinkle turkey with salt and pepper and lightly coat with vegetable cooking spray. Grill until cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Cut turkey across the grain into 1/2-inch-thick slices. 3. Toss together romaine, croutons, and turkey until combined. Shake dressing to mix. Drizzle salad with dressing and toss lightly. 4. To serve: Divide salad evenly among 4 serving plates. Shave strips of Parmesan with a vegetable peeler evenly over salads. Per serving: Calories 185, fat 7.5 g, saturated fat 2 g, cholesterol 39 mg, sodium 1,268 mg, carbohydrate 11 g, fiber 2 g, protein 21 g. You may try out this salad and it really is a low-carb salad, with only 11GRAMS on Carbohydrates and 185 CALORIES! WHAT A STEAL! |
