I lost around the same amount of weight, do you have skin issues? I have them in some pockets that are hard to train.

Hi FitNBuff, whoa, congratulations on your weight loss! Heck yeah, I have a lot of loose skin. Some on my quads, mostly on my stomach. I hate it, but, what you are going to do? I have no interest in surgery. I figure it's just a by-product of all my years of drowning my sorrows in food.

Do you have before and after pics? I would love to see!

I do, they are not digital though, I am in the process of scanning them to my computer so I can share.

(I do not have many, as you may be able to relate...I either left when I saw a camera or I destroyed the pics of me)

I cannot see myself getting surgery either. I have a friend that did, although she likes it, she is still left with a huge scar. I have also seen a lot of horror shows from poor results, I figure, it is my natural reminder.

FitNBuff, GOOD for you on your weight loss. I totally know what you mean - I have very few pictures of me at my heaviest. How long did it take you to lose the weight? What method did you use? How has it been to maintain the weight loss? Maybe I should start a new thread for this since I'm asking so many questions? LOL!

I've only seen one REAL picture, and it was from a guy who used to weight like 300+ pounds, and is now in great shape. He carries a photo with him in his wallet all the time to remind himself how big he used to be.

I'm almost 100% positive that the pictures you see on TV commercials are fake.

I agree completely. It is quite a mind game they play on you though. I feel great and (I think) I look great, I will never be tight like the Fitness Pros I admire.
(Don’t get me wrong, I realize most of them have been athletic their whole lives which is quite an advantage, but I cannot help to admire the hard work that got them where they are)

Some of them are actually funny, because they're so obvious and set up. The six-packs practically look PAINTED on!
