Default 100% Casein Protein, 4 lb

Site Sponsors: Cool Christian Apparel from Virtue Clothing.
I found the description in BeFitFree store.

Sometimes slower is better - especially when it comes to the rate of protein digestion. While rapid protein absorption is desirable immediately before or after exercise, delayed release is probably more beneficial throughout the remainder of the day.

Can someone please tell me how this product help digestion?

Thumbs up Casein Protein

Casein Protein doesn't help digestion, it is actually a slow digesting protein used because of it's ability to stay in the body for longer periods of time. I've recommended Casein Protein as a protein supplement for bodybuilders to take before bed time, because it keeps you from suffering muscular atrophy while sleeping.

As far as I know, while sleeping, the foods that we eat but yet digested might move slowly and this will cause fat. Therefore, what is the importance of a slow digesting protein other than avoiding muscular atrophy. Will it cause fat?

Default Can taking too much protein make me fat?

As you may already know, protein can not be stored as fat. Protein can either be metabolised and used to rebuild muscle tissue, or oxidised and used for energy.
Casein Protein is a good protein supplement to take before bed because it stays in your system longer and helps you to rebuild muscle while you sleep.

Carbohydrates on the other hand, when eaten before bed either have to be used as immediate energy or stored as a viable energy source (fat). You want to reduce intake of fats and carbohydrates before bed, but increase protein intake.

This is a good practice for anyone, weather dieting or trying to build muscle. Going to bed with protein in your system is a good thing for dieters, because it will help your metabolism to stay increased during the night, and also increase feelings of satiety when you awake.

Protiens are one of the main building blocks of life so it is no wonder that it is so vital to muscle growth and development. It is good to take protien supplements with a proper routine.

You can take this before bed and it really curbs your nighttime hunger. I liked the taste of it, I use the vanilla flavor and mix it with orange juice.

How does this really taste though? Sometimes protein shakes can taste pretty odd.Although I have become accustomed to how many taste. I am always happy when I am surprised.
