No, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone! Alli is very dangerous. Besides, it has a warning to bring extra pants to work for risk of, "oily discharge". I can't imagine taking a weight loss product that made me change my underwear! That's just gross!

There are a lot of good weight loss supplements on here that work much better without the risks.

Do you have thyroid problems or anything? I typically recommend Thermogenic Thyrotabs, but they are pretty hardcore, so they may be too strong. I wouldn't use Alli.

Thanks,I am aware of the so called treatment results but as I say I am desparate.I have trouble taking any sort of thermogenic products because I have trouble with arythmyas. I was interested in this because it only works in the gut.

Why not take Chitosan to stop the digestion of fats and maybe add Hoodia Gordonii to decrease appetite?

Chitosan 500mg, 240 caps
Your Price: $13.37
Regular: $25.99
Hoodia Gordonii 400mg, 60 caps
Your Price: $13.49
Regular: $16.58

These are stimulant free weight loss products that shouldn't effect your heart rate!

Question

Thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions. I am beginning to feel that these would be much better choices. I am just concerned about them being as effective?

I got this quote below from weightloss.about.com
Quote:
The claim is that taking the pill and following the diet and exercise plan recommended can help you lose 50 percent more weight than dieting alone.
The results may vary slightly from person to person. The manufacturer claims for every five pounds you lose, Alli will help you lose an additional two to three pounds.
In other words, if you would normally lose six pounds in a month with diet and exercise, taking Alli may help you lose a total of eight or nine pounds in that month.
Remember, Alli will only work correctly if you follow a low-fat, reduced-calorie diet. Simply taking the pill will not lead to these types of results and will likely cause some very unpleasant side effects. Keep in mind that a healthy rate at which to lose weight is between .5 and two pounds each week.

The healthy products like Chitosan (which also stops the digestion of fats... exactly like Alli) are just as effective without all the NASTY side effects.
