Hi, I've never participated in an online forum but heard this BeFit4Free one was pretty awesome so decided to give it a try.

I had double mastectomy when I was 29. (1989).
They did the reconstructive surgery with silicone implants.
In those days - implants were believed to be "bullet proof" with no ruptures in the news yet.

Eleven years later - very long story short - ruptured implants had leached silicone out of the breast cavity...into my bloodstream/body.

I had been going to doctor's for other complaints namely; Chronic Fatigue (debilating),and Joint pain so bad it woke me up screaming.
I then developed a hard cough - I mean gut wrenching, gagging kind of cough.

Specialists determined I didn't have asthma/arthritus/cancer...
couldn't figure why the symptoms. Gave me inhalers/nebulizer treatments/cough syrups...even prescribed anti-depressants!! Told me I "wasn't crazy but maybe it was all in my head"!!

After the surgery to dig/scrape out all the ruptured silicone they could, I was deathly sick for months. So toxic that I was even incontinent. Every bit of liquid I took in - my system was trying to flush out the poison.

Now, my joint pain and fatigue is still there but I can at least function.
My main problem is the cough still won't stop.

I think the silicone lodged in my lungs maybe?
The reason I think so is that when I started a detox program...the cough got so bad I couldn't handle it. I think my system is still trying to get rid of it and can't.
Another odd thing about the cough that stumps the doc's is: the Only thing that will stop the coughing spasms is for me to lay down flat! Most people cough harder due to the fluids shifting when they lay down....?

I've tried every suggestion anyone can come up with.

Has anyone else had any experience with this?
